How To Engage From The Stage

It’s not just the content that comes out of your mouth, it’s how you dress, sound, your body language, marketing material and so on. If you’re male, having the wrong colour tie, or wearing no tie at all, can count against you.

Performing from the stage can be daunting even for the most experienced of speakers and presenters – I cover this in my one-to-one sessions on presentation skills

Here are three things you need to do in order to getting it right when performing:

DRESS

I have one rule. Dress better than your audience.

CONTENT

Know your stuff. If you don’t you’ll get found out!

DELIVERY

Don’t rush your words. Try using pauses.
