Exhibition and trade show stands are expensive to install and are very often months if not years in the planning. So why is it when we visit them, sometimes at great cost to ourselves or our company, we’re confronted with this sort of thing at so many events at home and abroad? Don’t people understand it’s rude and disrespectful to ignore others?
This photo was taken on my visit to IMEX in Frankfurt. Perhaps at next year’s event, these two, if they return might just engage in a bit more customer engagement. Even at times when the footfall is slow during the day, don’t fall into the trap of swiping your smartphone or making a call. It just puts people off.
