The second week on the sales team was packed with sales training sessions. Two comments were seared into one’s memory….

“All buyers are liars” and

“Thank your customers”

One learns to stand firm, eventually, in respect of the first. The second requires another sort of action. A simple “thank you” by e-mail or better still by letter will help cement the business relationship you’ve started.
