Courtesy When Cold Calling

📅  28th May 2017 | Selling

For the first time in ages, I reacted positively to a cold call I received on my mobile phone. A young woman called me asking whether I’d be interested in a “no obligation” quote for some carpet and upholstery cleaning.

It’s about time the carpet in my 30′ lounge had a bit of a makeover so I agreed to see her colleague who was “in the area” the next day.

The young woman was courteous, pleasant and to the point. She also spoke in a very pleasant tone.

It really is the only way to be when cold-calling!
